The Breeze (North Somerset)

The Breeze is a United Kingdom radio station in Weston-super-Mare, in North Somerset. The station is owned by Celador Radio, and is part of The Breeze network of stations. The studios are based in Bristol and Southampton.
==History==

The Breeze started life as 107.7 WFM〔(【引用サイトリンク】url=http://www.ofcom.org.uk/static/archive/rau/newsroom/Appraisal/bristol_north_somerset.htm )〕 and launched on 23 October 1999.〔(【引用サイトリンク】url=http://www.mediauk.com/radio/249/the-breeze )〕 It was later rebranded by new owners UKRD as a way of recognition of its existing Star brand. The station was then known as Star 107.7 before changing to Star Radio in North Somerset.
In November 2009, Star Radio (North Somerset) was sold by UKRD and renamed Nova Radio on 26 September 2010. At midnight on 29 March 2013, the station was re-launched as The Breeze North Somerset following a takeover by Celador Radio 〔(【引用サイトリンク】title=Somerset's Nova Radio flips to The Breeze )
